Review ZEISS Axioskop 40 Pol Trinocular Fluorescence Microscope

The Zeiss AxioScope A1 microscope system, specifically the 1128-330 Trinocular Fluorescence model, is an advanced research-grade microscope designed for various applications in life sciences and research laboratories. This microscope offers exceptional imaging quality and versatility through its fluorescence capabilities.

The microscope's body is constructed with high-quality materials, ensuring durability and stability. The trinocular head comes equipped with three independently adjustable eyepieces, allowing multiple observers to view the same specimen simultaneously with maximum comfort. The eyepieces provide a magnification range of up to 100x, delivering a clear and detailed image.

The fluorescence illumination system includes a mercury vapor lamp, providing a wide spectrum of excitation wavelengths. The microscope comes with various filters to optimize the observation of specific fluorophores. The filter turret features a motorized quick-change mechanism, making it easy to switch between different filter combinations for various fluorochromes.

The Axiocam ERc 5s color camera is an optional add-on for this microscope system, enabling users to capture high-resolution images and videos in various color modes. The camera is controlled using the Zeiss AxioVision software, which offers comprehensive image processing and analysis tools.

The stage of the microscope is motorized and includes a climate chamber for temperature and CO2 control, ensuring optimal conditions for live cell observations. The stage also features a precision XYZ manipulator, allowing for precise movement and positioning of the specimen.

Additional features of the Zeiss AxioScope A1 Trinocular Fluorescence microscope include:

* Objective turret with Plan-Apochromat objectives (10x, 20x, 40x, 63x, and 100x)

* DIC (Differential Interference Contrast) capability for enhanced contrast and detail

* Motorized focus drive for easy and precise focus adjustment

* Compatibility with various accessories, such as the Apotome.2 for optical sectioning or the Autofocus module for automated focus control
