Details:

Three main power Supplies. The back plane for the right bank has visible water damage on backside of board around some solder points. The operate/standby button on the front of microscope never lights up and workstation does not recognize that is connected. The chamber was closed at the time of water damage and no got into.

The card cage is located directly beneath this seam and some water dripped onto. When I try to power on the microscope, some lights come but it never fully powers. It is being sold as for parts or repair. This microscope was in a room that had water leak from above and some dripped onto the base/tabletop of one area.

Components connected to microscope. The VSC2 board has visible water damage around some of the chips on front and back. Thermo Pathfinder w/extended DBC cable. As you can see from the last picture, top of chamber door slants down a bit.

Every cover on every component attached to the microscope above platform was removed inspect for internal water damage and no found. Quotes available by request. Manufactured 10-2023. I am unsure if this is an actual problem with the door or of there electronic lock that helps to close completely.

Every PLC component within the lower gray casing was inspected and show no visible water damage. Every other board and power supply on the lower part of microscope within gray casing was visually inspected show no signs water damage. This is the only area on microscope with any visible water damage. The backside of the right banks back plane and card that was installed in this bank at time, VSC2 card, both have visible water damage.

The left bank back plane, and all of the cards installed into it, were individually inspected show no signs water damage. I know that the vacuum pump seals door but cannot fully power on microscope to test. No further testing to the microscope has been done. The chamber door does not close flush.

The water dripped onto the right bank. There is also an issue with the chamber door. Listing is for a Thermo Scientific Apreo 2s LoVac Scanning Electron Microscope SEM. The card cage is divided into two banks, left right, and each bank has its own individual back plane.

External components included shown on and in front of wire rack, rack not. The water hit the top of table on right side where there is a seam for two dark gray panels to connect each other.
