Case cover clear side screws in all the way and secures microscope 100%, but it sits slightly loose can rattle just a minor note FYI. This particular one is from when Elgeet Optical and Olympus teamed up, somewhere between late 1970s - 1980 model MIC school/student/educational compound microscope. Lenses seem clean clear.

Microscope and case have some cosmetic scuffs, but all parts intact functional. Inspected tested. Rotary var-focal objective 40x, 75x, 150x, 300x magnification. Affordable, beginner level, but also high quality optics and overall build made in Japan.
