Photo #11 and #12 I rotated the lower, main system focus rod. The silver piece that I see on Questar telescopes adapting the lens to microscope/telescope is missing. Their response was: Yes that scope is a QM1 Long Mount with BK7 / Mugful optics. Relative Aperture/Numerical Aperture:Working Distancing.Apter.F/numb.
I guess don't understand exactly how this might work as a microscope versus telescope and so maybe that has something to do with the adapter not being there, know. Focusing Mechanism:Mirror thimble integral with stainless steel sliding tube. This is from a client that more likely used if for microscope than telescope but I don't know sure. Slides on fixed, stainless steel light baffle tube center less ground.
Baffling: Helix in central tube, all interior surfaces black anti-reflection coated. Mechanical Barrel: Aluminum Hollow Bar, machined full length , with integrated lens cell and mount, black anodized exterior finish. I rotated the top internal Barlow actuation knob resulting in moving and out of light path. Testing: I removed the top cover/cap.
My company sells used business equipment. It was built in 2017. Basically the same as Pyrex. Rear Closure Plate:With stainless steel central tube - precision machining and alignment after assembly.
It is a long distance microscope, focus 22 to 60 approx. Other than that, it appears in very good, cared-for, high quality condition. Unless the lens is suppose to attach some other way that I don't understand.
