The nose piece rubber grip sometimes slips when you are rotating it. The stage moves fine in both directions but it is fairly loose movement. This is the microscope body only as seen in pictures, no optics or anything else. The light control knob goes beyond the maximum mark and below minimum.

The stand powers on and the light appears to work. The condenser tray is hard to move up and down, but it does.
