The stainless steel bottom is very thin 0.2mm allowing imaging with low objective working distances. It will work fit on Nikon, Zeus's, Olympus, or Leila inverted microscopes with 96 well plate stage holders XY control. Only the fully functional metal safety lid clips show some signs of use. It is 128mm long, 85mm wide, and 4mm thick.

Low side walls on petri dishes are preferred. It has been fully tested with petri dishes on an Olympus Inverted microscope.
